Qualify The Metal Roof

Ensure the roof is clean, dry, and tight. Conduct an adhesion test to ensure proper bond.

Prep The Substrate

Make any necessary repairs to the sheet metal and secure or replace all loose or missing fasteners. Power wash the roof using a proper cleaning solution, and install sheet metal crickets behind the rooftop units, if required.

Treat Seams and Fasteners

Treat ridges and rake edges with brush, embed reinforcing mesh, seal vertical seams and encapsulate all fasteners with Silicone Mastic.

Detail Penetrations

Treat all curbs, penetrations, and drains with Silicone Mastic and 12” reinforcing mesh.

Coat The Roof

Apply Silicone per the specifications for a 10, 15, or 20-year limited warranty or guarantee.
- Silicone systems can be brushed, rolled, or spray-applied.
- High Solid Silicone can be applied in one or multiple coats.
- Consistently check wet mil thickness for uniform coverage.
